Isis Mancil -- Founder / President / Executive Director  

Isis Mancil is the founder of HUEMAN Foundation. She received her Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law and MBA from Howard University School of Business and is a Member of the California Bar. Isis also received her Bachelors degrees in Political Science and Communications with Honors from the University of Southern California .

Throughout high school, college and graduate school Isis participated in and created tutoring, mentoring and other youth outreach programs. While in law school she taught juveniles conflict resolution and civil rights in a program sponsored by Street Law called “Save Our Streets.” Isis was employed by Rock the Vote, The Washington, DC Public Defender Service and consulted for the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, California Lawyers for the Arts and the Tavis Smiley Foundation.

Her travels, life experiences, and the state of the African, Latino, Asian and poverty stricken communities in the United States and throughout the world are the inspirations for the HUEMAN ® Foundation. The HUEMAN ® Foundation will enable Isis to fulfill her promise, her mission and her college personal statement to “Save the Children.” Pursuant to her promise she has organized an incredible board of directors, advisors and volunteer program strategists who share her mission. Isis also invites others, who share her vision to become “HUEMAN ®” and contribute to the organizations’ success.
